These Electronic Purchase Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern all electronic purchases (“E-Purchases”) of digital products and services only made through the Sport Law Inc. website or any other online platform operated by Sport Law Inc. (“Sport Law”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By completing an E-Purchase, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

3.     Product Descriptions and Access

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that all digital product descriptions, access details, pricing, and availability are accurate at the time of posting. However, errors may occur.

Sport Law Inc. reserves the right to: – Correct errors or omissions – Modify, suspend, or discontinue digital products or access at any time – Update content to reflect legal, regulatory, or best-practice changes

4.     Pricing, Fees, and Taxes

  • All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).
  • Prices do not include applicable taxes unless expressly stated.
  • Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and any mandatory fees will be calculated and displayed before checkout.

If a pricing error is identified after purchase, Sport Law Inc. reserves the right to cancel the transaction and issue a full refund.

5.     Payment Terms

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase using the payment methods made available on the website.
  • By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
  • Payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors.

Sport Law Inc. does not store full credit card information.

7.     Digital Access and Availability

Access Delivery

Digital products are delivered electronically via email, online platform access, or user account credentials.

Access Issues

If you experience technical difficulties accessing purchased content, you must notify Sport Law Inc. within a reasonable time so that access issues may be addressed.

Availability

Sport Law Inc. does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to digital platforms and may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, or technical reasons.

8.     Cancellations, Refunds, and No-Return Policy

No Refunds After Access

Except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of purchase: – Digital products are non-refundable once access has been provided – Downloads, streamed content, and on-demand materials are non-returnable – Registration fees for virtual events are non-refundable once access details have been issued

Discretionary Refunds

Any refunds granted outside statutory requirements are provided at the sole discretion of Sport Law Inc. and do not create an ongoing obligation.

9.     Intellectual Property and Licence

All content, materials, trademarks, and intellectual property made available through digital products remain the exclusive property of Sport Law Inc. or its licensors.

Upon purchase, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence for personal, non-commercial use only.

You may not: – Copy, reproduce, distribute, or share materials – Record, screen-capture, or rebroadcast webinars or courses – Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit content

10.  Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information collected during an E-Purchase is handled in accordance with Sport Law Inc.’s Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation, including PIPEDA.

Sport Law Inc. uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information.

11.  Marketing Communications

Sport Law Inc. complies with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided in the communication.

12.  Professional and Educational Disclaimer

All digital products, courses, webinars, publications, and materials provided by Sport Law Inc. are offered for general educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing made available through an E-Purchase: – Constitutes legal advice or a legal opinion – Is intended to address the specific circumstances of any individual or organization – Creates a solicitor-client, lawyer-client, fiduciary, or advisory relationship between you and Sport Law Inc.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
